We have always for many years being diamond members for a very long time sailing on QM2, QV, and QE. So, with reading so much negativity regarding QA, yes she is different so we decided to try her then to say we have sailed on all of Cunards fleet. First of all she is a beautiful ship but very modern, very tastefully designed, brilliant cabins along with a beautiful bathroom with walk in showerQueen. Staff amazing as we come to expect with Cunard, food very good, entertainment was brilliant with Alex the entertainment director who was always very informative. The shows and lectures on board were so good, all in all we have booked whilst on board to cruise the Azores in November for 12 days.

Travel requirements

All passengers (including all children), should hold their own full 10-year (5 years for children) British Citizen (GBR) passport. The passport should be valid for at least 6 months past your expected return date to the UK, as this is often a criteria for entry to certain countries.

It is mandatory for all guests to have adequate travel insurance when they board their cruise. You will be asked to provide details of your insurance with Cunard before you travel. And we may ask you to show prooof of your insurance when you check-in. Please ensure that your insurance covers you for the following; A cruise holiday. The full length of the trip. All of the destinations you’re visiting – if in doubt, choose worldwide cover. When travelling with us, your insurance must include medical cover of £2 million minimum and cover for emergency evacuations and medical expenses related to Covid-19. Declare any pre-existing medical conditions and read each policy thoroughly to make sure you have the cover you need. If you are going on more than one holiday this year, consider choosing an annual or multi-trip policy to cover you long-term. We would also recommend that you have adequate cancellation cover to cover the cost of your trip.
